Winner of a Green'n'Clean award, Gurtenfestival is one of Switzerland's most popular festivals. They'll text you the line up (paper free!) and most of the profits are donated to Save the Amazon. It is held annually in the middle of July on top of Berne's local mountain, the Gurten. Music is diverse and covers a range of acts from rock, pop and hip-hop.
